Modern Warfare 2 Map Favela Removed

Activision has temporarily removed the popular Modern Warfare multiplayer map 'Favela' after receiving complaints from Muslim gamers over imagery found in the game.

Microsoft Offers Xbox Live Discounts For Achievement Score


Xbox Live Gold members can now earn discount rewards for passing certain gamerscore point totals. Totals between 3,000 and 9,999 gamerscore points offer a special gift during your birthday month. 10,000-24,000 includes the gift and one-percent rebate on Xbox Live Marketplace purcahses every month.
If your gamerscore is 25,000 or greater, you receive the gift and two-percent rebate on Xbox Live Marketplace purchases. Games on Demand, Arcade Games, Game Add-ons and Avatar items qualify for the rebate. Purchases of Microsoft Points or Xbox LIVE memberships do not.
